A Birthday Celebration

I recently turned thirty five and yes, I am getting old. I have a lot of things to be thankful for.  I am grateful for all the things that I went through both positive and negative because they have made me who I am today.  I am looking forward to what the future has in store for me.  Hopefully, whatever it is that comes my way I will be able to deal and face with it with my head held high.

I did not have plans for my birthday. I was not even thinking about a restaurant dinner.  I felt lazy and just wanted to stay home.  If it weren’t for the Mega Millions jackpot prize, I would probably just stayed at home.   Instead, I got my Mega Million tickets and had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants nearby at the same time.  Who knows I might get lucky.  Sure enough, I won $1, hahaha!

Overall, my birthday celebration went well. I am easy to please, no gifts needed, just good company makes me happy and satisfied. Since we were in a healthy mood, my hubby had his favorite Seafood Delight and egg drop soup while I had Triple Delight. He then washed it all down with hot tea.  I, on the other hand, had a nice cold glass of iced tea.
