Campbell’s Homestyle

Last winter, I had the opportunity to go back home to the Philippines to be with family and friends during the holidays for the first time since I came over here to the US in 2006. I had been back to the Philippines several times but was never able to make it during the holiday season so last year was special for me. We had a long trip over there last year because my hubby was trying to get some business ventures started and we were thinking about buying a place there. The business atmosphere did not turn out to be that great so the chances of being able to spend another special Christmas season there will probably not happen again anytime soon unless, we get some business going or I would happen to win the $500 airline gift card from the Campbell’s Soup Company to help pay for the expensive airline tickets at this time of the year.

I am not familiar with the Campbell’s Soup Company and I even had a hard time pronouncing their name so my hubby could understand it but he remembers it well. When he was a kid, he always enjoyed Campbell’s soups. His favorites were the clam chowder and vegetable beef. He hasn’t had any for a long time and had almost forgotten about how much he liked them. One of the other things that my hubby did when we were in the Philippines last year was to have a lot of his teeth pulled. That’s another reason that he is thinking about having some Campbell soup. We are going to the grocery store this afternoon and I think we will pick up some of their new home-style soups. He said his mouth was watering after seeing the ad for the Homestyle New England clam chowder. That sounds really good to me too.
