Affordable Wedding Destination in Fort Myers Beach, FL.

This is a sponsored post.

One of my hubby’s nephews got married in Florida four years ago around this time of the year. Both the bride and groom live in Illinois but the wedding took place in Florida. I think it was the bride’s choice. She wanted to have a beach wedding. I don’t blame her. The stunning beaches and fantastic resorts in Florida make it a great choice for special moments in life.

The sunshine state is teeming with both indoor and outdoor venues for magical weddings, no matter what theme or motif you are planning to have for …

Blogging Platform with a Touch of Social Media?

I have been blogging since 2005. It first started as a hobby then turn into a business. As a newbie in the blogosphere, I first used blogging platforms that offered free hosting. I used Blogger and Bravenet. I think they were the best way to go if you are new to the blogging world.

It took me about a year or two before I purchased my own domain names. Then, in 2007, I officially started my business working from my home. Taking surveys was my first work-from-home job and then, for some reason, my attention got diverted to blogging. My …

Image may contain: kitchen and indoorIf your kitchen drawers refuse to close or tile is falling off the bathroom wall, it might be time to think about making a few changes. Moving Prep and Tips Guide

Moving Prep and Tips
Winter season is not my favorite. It is frigidly cold up here in northern Minnesota and I don’t like to go outside. Even when going to town for grocery shopping, my husband has to drag me. I have been living here for almost eleven years now but I still haven’t totally adapted to the cold weather yet. It is really hard for me especially since I grew up in a tropical country, the Philippines, where it is warm all year round. I sometimes think about moving to somewhere warm and if that happens anytime soon, my hubby and I will …

Create Personalized Meal Plans with PlateJoy

I am a stay at home wife. I have confessed to being culinarily challenged. Fortunately, my husband is not and also likes to cook. He is an engineer by profession and is very creative. He likes to dream up new recipes and put new things together. As organized as he is with his plans, including planning meals, there are times that he also struggles about what we are going to have for supper.

Planning meals can be daunting. Oftentimes, when my hubby and I can’t think of anything we want to eat, we hop in the car and eat out. …

Lobster Fest Promo for Anniversary Celebration

 photo DSC_0017_zpsduj2iqb3.jpg

My hubby and I celebrated our eleventh anniversary at the Red Lobster restaurant in Fargo last week. That is the closest one from home which is a four-hour drive round trip. It was quite a drive and fortunately, there was also some business that we had to take care of that day. The weather was so nice that I did not mind spending an extended amount of time staying out.

photo DSC_0014_zpsamubusdt.jpgRed Lobster was a perfect choice since we both love seafood. On top of that, their Lobsterfest promo has been extended so we took advantage of that and they sent …

Consult a Doctor Online

This is a sponsored post with Mums the Word Network and Amwell. All opinions are my own.

photo amwell_zps1fee38fq.jpgI have recently acquired healthcare insurance but have yet to use it.  My hubby, on the other hand, has health insurance through the VA.  He has been having health problems for quite sometime now and driving back and forth to the VA clinic more than 100 miles away has become a burden.  The recent development of telemedicine has helped us some but is still a 50 mile round trip.  Amwell is an online care group that you can access through the computer.

I …
