I have been blogging since 2005. It first started as a hobby then turn into a business. As a newbie in the blogosphere, I first used blogging platforms that offered free hosting. I used Blogger and Bravenet. I think they were the best way to go if you are new to the blogging world.
It took me about a year or two before I purchased my own domain names. Then, in 2007, I officially started my business working from my home. Taking surveys was my first work-from-home job and then, for some reason, my attention got diverted to blogging. My …
If your kitchen drawers refuse to close or tile is falling off the bathroom wall, it might be time to think about making a few changes. As much as you may hope that the living room would magically expand for you and your family, the truth is nothing will change without a makeover. It might be time to contact remodeling contractors San Diego to help you tackle the dreaded home makeover.
Between calculating the costs, the disorganization of rooms being turned upside down and being prepared for potential problems, renovations is something few people look forward to enduring. Working with …
Winter season is not my favorite. It is frigidly cold up here in northern Minnesota and I don’t like to go outside. Even when going to town for grocery shopping, my husband has to drag me. I have been living here for almost eleven years now but I still haven’t totally adapted to the cold weather yet. It is really hard for me especially since I grew up in a tropical country, the Philippines, where it is warm all year round. I sometimes think about moving to somewhere warm and if that happens anytime soon, my hubby and I will …

I am a stay at home wife. I have confessed to being culinarily challenged. Fortunately, my husband is not and also likes to cook. He is an engineer by profession and is very creative. This is a sponsored post with Mums the Word Network and Amwell. All opinions are my own.
I have recently acquired healthcare insurance but have yet to use it. My hubby, on the other hand, has health insurance through the VA. He has been having health problems for quite sometime now and driving back and forth to the VA clinic more than 100 miles away has become a burden. The recent development of telemedicine has helped us some but is still a 50 mile round trip. Amwell is an online care group that you can access through the computer.
“Mom just got a hip replacement. She has to be out of the hospital, but she’s too sick to go home. What should we do?”
“I need somewhere to recover from heart surgery. I don’t want to be a burden to my kids and wish there were somewhere I could go with advanced medical care. Do I have any options?”
Sometimes you need medical care that can’t be taken care of at home or in a hospital. If you need more advanced medical care help is available in “post-acute” care or a nursing home.
Nursing homes have gotten a bad rap over the years. …
