Bennet Schwartz wakes up early to work early. He said that this is something that he learned from his father who said, “early risers are making money before others get out of bed.”
He admits that there are days when he’s tempted to sleep in and to simply work later in the day. But he tries his best to fight the urge not to do that because he truly wants to focus on succeeding in this career and his business.
But instead of going straight to work, he starts his day by meditating. He said that this clears his mind of any distractions. That’s important for you to focus on your job, especially if you’re working in the creative field.
After meditating, he heads out of the house to ride his bike for a morning exercise to start his day the right way. While it might seem counterproductive, stepping away from work to go biking keeps his mind refreshed and ready to work.
Learn From Your Mistakes
Bennet Schwartz admits that he’s made mistakes, but he makes sure to learn from these mistakes.
He advices others not to rush to make it to the top. Instead, you have to realize that mistakes make you grow. Every choice and every mistake you make have corresponding lessons for you to learn.

There are two things that Bennet Schwartz believe to be the most important aspects of being an entrepreneur.
According to him, every single successful person that he met or read about are hardworking people.
But he also emphasizes that it is important to respect others. For him, it’s a sign that you’re on the road to success because you acknowledge that you need everyone on your side so you can succeed in business.

Though he spent a lot of money in moving from the US to Australia, he said that buying the book entitled “The Barcelona Way” by Professor Damian Hughes was one of the best investments he spent on.
